My Reactions:
Last year, I saw the news from a newspaper website, showing a picture of a compact car draft, which pronounced that the world’s cheapest car was produced by an Indian company. I remembered I was surprise when I knew that it was the cheapest in the world because it would not be possible to own a car in this price. One year later, this car is ready to go on sale in India for just around $2,500. The ultra cheap Nano is affordable for “average” people, I know it would be the good news for some people who desire to own a more comfortable four-wheel vehicle instead of a motorcycle and now their dreams could become true.Although I am not sure whether the Indian would accept this mass transportation moving through the street or not, for me, I would like to buy a Tata nano because of its reasonable price, lovely appearance and the lower emission. On the other hand, there are many people question that is it safe to ride a low cost car on the road? They compare the Tata nano with a deer and believe that the deer is much reliable than a car. Actually, I understand why the car arrives with so many uncertainties. In order to cut down the cost of producing the car, the Tata Motors has to deal with the production problems and a huge debt load. Since there is a cycle between Tata, the bank and vendors, if any one of them is in trouble, the Nano will soon disappear. Over all, this ultra cheap car was unveiled with so many focuses in the world; I believe it would be a huge market for that segment and hoping not only to change the life style in India but also the whole world.
